Sellers are charged for selling Units on the ModuGo Site and shippers, installers, inspectors and other service providers (“Service Providers”) are charged for obtaining business through the bidding process on the ModuGo site. This policy is part of our User Agreement. By registering an account on the ModuGo site, you are agreeing to this Policy and the terms and conditions of our User Agreement.
Sellers pay a commission fee to ModuGo for each Unit sold on the Site. There is no fee for listing a Unit for sale. The commission fee paid by the Seller is three percent (3%) of the sale price of the Unit sold.
Sellers pay a commission fee for each Unit leased through the Site. There is no fee to list a Unit for lease. The commission fee paid by the Seller is the lesser of four percent (4%) of the total rent due under the lease, or the first month’s rent under the lease.
Service Providers whose bids for services are accepted through the ModuGo Site pay a fee of ten percent (10%) of the accepted bid price.
Any action by a Seller or a Service Provider to avoid paying a fee is considered fee avoidance and is strictly prohibited by ModuGo. This includes, for example, encouraging buyers to purchase a Unit from you through another venue. The price stated in each listing description must be an accurate representation of the sale price. Sellers may not alter a Unit’s price after a sale for the purpose of avoiding ModuGo transaction fees, misrepresent the Unit’s location, or use another user’s account without permission.
You are responsible for collecting and paying any applicable state and federal sales taxes associated with selling or providing services through the Site. Sellers and Service Providers are solely liable for compliance with all applicable state and federal tax obligations. ModuGo recommends that each Seller and Service Provider consult with its own tax counsel to determine its unique obligations and requirements.
No refunds are permitted, except as otherwise provided in the User Agreement.
